If Dallas trades for Darren Howard, that means they're sticking with the 4-3?

With Ellis, Ferguson, & Glover already in the fold, picking up a 4th starting DL would indicate to me, that they plan on sticking with the 4-3 defense. Anyone agree?

Adding Howard would sure make that a very formidable DL. That could also change their emphasis in the upcoming draft.

I hate the Cowboys, but I have to respect the team on the field.

They probably wont switch completely to a 3-4, most teams run the 4-3 but throw some 3-4 packages in their playbook and that is probably what the girls are going to do.

Minnesota will not trade darren sharper, because they past on other options to get him. maybe they would do this trade if dallas offered roy williams.... see where im goin at..

Seems like all the Cowboys do is copy our ideas. First they get a look at Reliant Stadium and decide to build their own retractable roof stadium in Arlington, then they take a page from our playbook and decide to run our 3-4. Poor ole Jerry just isn't capable of an origional idea anymore. He is sure gonna be humiliated if we go up there (is it in '06 ?) and kick his tail - again.

If they get Howard, they could have on paper one of the best d lines in the league. Also, if it does happen Glover could get 17 sacks again.

Actually the Houston Texans copied the Cowboys idea. Dallas was the first one to come up with it.The hole in the roof is evidence of an unfinished design. The original plan called for a retractable roof, which was quite a radical concept in the late 1960s. However, the idea was abandoned on the basis of engineering and financial problems. But the rest of the design was implemented, resulting in Texas Stadium as we know it.

Cowboys aren't copying, their simply goin by what Bill coaches by. Bill loves the 3-4, they knew that before he came in. He wanted a 3-4 as soon as he got there. Retractable roof will be the new thing of all stadiums. The Texans were just lucky enough to be a new team during a era where its affordable.
