I know you want to say it, so lets get it out right here. I know you were wrong about a lot of things....... I know I was. But right here, lets go ahead, and talk about what we guessed right.


I told you........ Being ready to start in the NFL on day one means nothing. We draft for the future, especially with Quarterback. A team would have to be in a special situation to have to start their rookie QB...... Like having nobody to start. Volek will start before any rookie...... Aaron will start ahead of all but the most special rookie.. Kurt will start ahead of most rookies..........

How 'bout you?? What were you right about??

Three words. Mario Williams. Texans.
 
The Titans would draft Vince Young.

Jay Cutler would not be drafted in the Top 10. (whew, barely got that right)

The Texans would not draft Bush if he wasn't signed before the draft. (That one hasn't been proven, but it hasn't it been disproven either)

DeMeco Ryans at #33, major OT available for us in the 3rd (Eric Winston).

Top-flight safety making it out of the first day for our first pick tomorrow. Actually, 3 of them managed it.
 
I just thought of another one when I heard Casserly's interview on 790 a minute ago.

NO signing Drew Brees killed any trade possibilities for the Texans.
 
I think I did pretty good on my list.... I got 3-7 right on.... lol.... (those were kinda easy... then again... I dont proclaim to be an expert.... just a Houstonian and a Texan.... which is almost as good) :P

not exact but close.... that Leinart would drop as low as he did.... I was secretly hoping Detroit(I know I know... they have like 30 QBs....) would draft him and he would never bother anyone ever again with his smuggness.... I never clapped so hard and so happy about another team not picking someone ever...... good job Jets!!!!!! good job.

you know the VP of the NFL hugged every player drafted in the 1st round... except Leinart. He went to hug Leinart and give him love..... but Leinart blew him off.... cuz he was sooooo upset.....

can you tell I dont like him? lol

Im actually somewhat upset he went to such a good football program in Arizona as he did.... he didnt disappoint me one bit..... his lack of respect he showed... he should be lucky that hes going to Arizona..... his fav choice was obviously not a football choice..... and that makes him suspect....

I think he actually bought all that BSPN hype.

Vince Young is a perfect fit for the Titans. Floyd Reese and Jeff Fisher have an excellent record with “Quarterback Projects”…..

After all they taught Steve McNair:

How to read the English Language and an NFL Playbook..

How to read NFL Defenses

How run an NFL Offense

How to develop proper passing mechanics….

If they did it with McNair, they can certainly do it with Vince Young…

Vince Young was not Floyd Reece and Norm Chow's choice. He was picked by Bottom Line Bud Adams so he could rub Houston's face in it. Didn't bother me a bit. Will just make the rivalry a little more intense. :yahoo:
 
I was right about being wrong.

Every year we get hyped about one player and every year they pick someone else.

Its almost like the guys who run the team know more about football or somthing...........

Carr.....I was endifferernt on this pick, didnt know much about him, we needed a QB.

Rogers....Got AJ instead. We got the better of the two picks

DHall and the guy for the Redskins who is going to go to jail for 50 zillion years..........we got DRob. O yea we got the better of that one.

DJ..........We got TJ. Well if you look at it the trade allowed us to get both spencer and winston.....hope those two pan out, if they do we got the better end.

Bush..........Mario. Time will tell.
