I see it now: Texans to claim TO off waivers

Why didn't we all see this before? Dom and Charlie's master plan all along has been to have the league's worst record when the Eagles release T.O., at which point the teams have a chance to pick him up in the order of worst record having first shot.

Not that we actually PLAY him, mind you, but we can turn him around to another team, Henson-style, for some juicy draft picks or maybe an OL or two.

I bow to the awesome long-term strategy that has been overlooked until now!

Taking TO makes more sense from a value proposition than reupping on Carr.

He is. That's Charlie and Dom posting trying to save their job.

Well, it just fizzled out; ESPN is reporting the TO suspension has been upheld, so the Eagles will not be releasing him to the waiver wire after all.

Sigh.

So much for having geniuses for a coach and GM...

Now you have me wanting to pick to up T.O. I would bet that we could get a third or second round pick for him.

In my opinion , it's not even worth it to have him for a day. he could do some damage in just a few hours on our roster.

Nah. No thanks on T.O. I'd like a change in philosophy and attitude of the team, but that's one addition that torch the whole thing.

The TO situation, IMHO, is if I (meaning Eagles) don't want you, I won't allow anybody else to have you either. Rome had an interesting take today in that no way were the Eagles going to let TO go only to show up on the Cowboys team, their arch rival, winning the Super Bowl, and holding up the Lombardi after being named MVP. No way!
