Some of you playcalling police should visit the "Official" Game Thread on the Colts message board

I know the weather isn't the best, but it seems as though we are playing not to lose, rather than to win. Our offense needs to open it up a little bit. Plus, why not go for it on 4th and 1? Take a chance. Denver had the same thing, but punted, and it pretty much ended their chances.

You can cry about the calls, you can cry about the weather, but I think we are watching the reason the Bucs fired Tony Dungy. He is not a big game coach, and the game plan is horrible. They don't know how to play power football and run it down someone's throat. That is what is need to win these types of games and the reason Pittsburgh will beat either of these teams.

On Offense the Colts are far more talented than the Pats. There is no excuse to only have 3 points in the 4th quarter.
The glaring weakness in on the sidelines and in the booth. The Pats are just 10 X better. And this game yet again shows it. This loss is on Tony Dungy. There really is no excuse today other than poor preparation and game planning.

I have to agree with TexasCard. The game plan today was horrible. It seems like we tried to play New England football today, instead of Colts football. We're a big play team and this team was ripe for the big play with their depleted secondary. I'm disappointed.

Re: Colt's offense

It occured to me that Peyton is given a long leash to direct games during the year and then a short leash in big games. The result is that he feels empowered to question calls and chide receivers like a coach. Brady is not encumbered by these issues, he pretty much focuses on reading the opposition defensive formation and ensuring the plays delivered to him are executed with the greatest chance for success.

Re: Holding

First, fire Tony Dungy.
Second, your defense isn't average. Dwight Freeney and then. . . . who else? RObert Mathis? I know he was 3rd in the league. .. but who in the heck is Robert Mathis?
Third, play calling. Atrocious. .. just atrocious. I can't descibe it.
4th, Peyton Manning isn't a big time QB. Sure, playing 10 dome games a year will get you 50 TD passes, but what about playing outdoor stadiums?? Tell Bart Peterson to get a real weather stadium. Chicago and GB have it. . why not INDY?
