I can see it 1-15

And so we could with the Rams, Ravens and the Titans. Not to mention the possibility of the Bengals. We were favored against the Titans twice and came out losers both times.

Did we win? Huh, huh? Did we? No. That's because the Texans are LOSERS!:loser

What makes you think we can win against the 49'ers or the Cardinals?

I'm thinking 2-14 actually. The Cardinals will kick our butts and the 49ers will win the Bush Bowl by being more inept than we are. We'll end up tied with them and they (along with Green Bay) win all tie breaks against us.

why does Green Bay win tie breakers with us?

I'm all for 1-15 and winning the Bush Bowl. From the way they've played the last few weeks, I feel it's more of a personnel problem than a scheme problem.
Lets finish dead last, get Bush then get a GM who can evaluate talent.

Strength of schedule.

thanks.

I can see the Packers winning tonight...unless they tell their special teams coach tells their kicker to miss a field goal or two.

If it goes into the last week where it is just the Texans and the Niners, the Texans will probably get the 1st pick regardless of the outcome because of strength of schedule. theirs is higher than ours.

after seeing Marciano jump up and down the sideline when Mathis took one back against the Cheifs, what on this world makes you think he would tell Brown to lose the game>

No way the Niners SOS will be higher than ours. We have the undefeated Colts that we played twice along with the 9 win Jags. Seattle has the only winning record in the Niners division.

because he's the only assistant coach that will be back next year, thus he's the only one who cares what our draft position is.

The Niners played our division. They have played the Colts and the Jags plus Seattle twice and the Bears and Giants.

But we played Indy and Jacksonville twice, as well as Seattle once AND Cincy, Pittsburgh, KC. No way we'll have a lower SOS at the end.

He may have even received assurances that this will be so in exchange for his participation in the "plot".

Yes I know how silly that sounds. No, I'm not entirely sure that it isn't true. It's not really a matter of whether or not I'm convinced that the Texans are tanking games. It's more a case of them looking so bad that I can't completely dismiss the idea. That's kind of amazing to me because I'd never have imagined that to happen and now I think it's possible.

Yeah and we have also played Cleveland, Tennessee twice, the Ravens, Arizona, and San Francisco.

Someone posted the strength of schedule earlier and we are ahead of them.

After Week 14 (the Sunday and Monday night games don't affect SF or Houston's SOS)

AFC South - 27 victories for SF, 52 for Houston
NFC West - 40 victories for SF, 22 for Houston
AFC North - 26 victories for Houston
NFC East - 29 victories for SF
SF One-offs - 9 Tampa + 9 Chicago
Hou One-offs - 8 KC + 4 Buffalo

52+22+26+8+4 = 112 victories by Houston opponents
27+40+29+9+9 = 114 victories by SF opponents

We also have a freebie victory vs. SF since we have to win once to get to the point where SOS matters. Since we're a SF opponent, that would add one to their SOS.

Wow! I stand corrected. I didn't think it was possible looking at the teams we each had to play twice.

1st tie-break is head-to-head. If we beat the 49ers and we both finish 2-14, they will get the 1st pick in the draft.

Yeah i think the only team we have to worry about is the 49ers they trying hard to get bush. the Cardinals are the least of my worries we cant match up with them there better in every position Except RB.

But the 49ers just stink as bad as us and Dumb Capers is defenetly going to try and win that game hoping he can save his job.:texflag:

No first tie break is strength of schedule, not head to head.

The Texans are in a big rut. Each week that passes by and they let a win slip away is just a little more confidence draining this team. Arizona and Jax will beat the Texans. Here is the real question. Will SF win when they go to the Rams? Fitzpatrick was uncovered for the QB he really is and the Texans aweful defense was once again the victim of a rookie QB that had no business beating the Texans. I geuss we will see in a couple weeks. Not to mention the Texans will go into the SF 1-14 with nothing to win, not even pride can be won here, but it is what can be lost that should be the focus. I for one hope that SF beats Stl. ; therebye, insuring the top spot for the Texans.
