2010, what an abortion of a football season. As a Longhorns and Texans fan, I have been forced to root for my teams to lose to rid us of the coaching albatrosses tying both of them down. GDGD is gone, now its time to put the final nail in the coffin of the Gary Kubiak era of failure. I hope the fraud known as Tim Tebow excites all of his loser Jesus freak fans by torching the Texans next week.

For the home finale, I can't wait to boo everything and anything to do with this team.
 
5-11, hopefully a good enough draft pick to draft Patrick Peterson!!

We'll probably just draft another Defensive Lineman.

Tebow just had a sweet run against the Raiders. Go Broncos!
 
We lost, I lost 200$ (I should know better than to bet on the Texans).

No way will I ever cheer for the opposing team, if I did that I'll rather stop watching the games alltogether.

Do you think Bob is such a dunderhead, the team NEEDS to go 5-11 for him to
realize Kubiak is not the right coach?

If you truly love the Texans like I assume you do, it is the only way. It serves us no good for this team to win any more games this season. McNair is a fool and needs to be shaken violently awake and compelled to fire Kubiak even if he moronically does not want to. I hope the players quit again the next 2 weeks. Ideally, McNair would lose control of the team to his son Cal before the new year (that would be a wonderful Christmas gift for us all). Cowher needs to be here STAT.

As long as fans keep buying this "Chinese Drywall" of a Football Team, McNair has absolutely no incentive to make any substantial "expensive" change for the better.

In other words, he won't fire the GM or the Coaching Staff or bring in any high dollar Free Agent.

Why should he? You keep on spending your money on what is the biggest pile of crap that is South of the Red River.

Until people vote with their wallet, change is not going to happen.
 
I won't root for them to lose but if we tank the rest of the season at least we get a good draft pick

If you are being serious, the answer is HELL YES. Have you seen this moron operate? He ****ing gave Kubiak an EXTENSION last year when any good NFL owner would have FIRED his ass. This guy needs his hand forced. I have no trust in him to do the right thing.

For the life of me, I have no idea how this guy became a billionaire. You look at other successful people and you can immediately nail down what they bring to the table whether it is intelligence, guts, street smarts or winning the lottery in being born into wealth. What the hell does McNair bring to the table. He loves mediocrity. I would love working for this dumbass. You could get away with murder and get rewarded for it.

ill be honest that even though the texans are my team there is a little part of me that doesnt even care that they lost today!!

Why is it I get the impression that if Kubiak had gone to UT you would be his biggest supporter?
 
Fans can sit here under this delusion that Kubiak will finally turn into this magician of a HC like they have the last two years, but I'm not that naive and I don't accept a spoon full of **** from an arrogant owner that's laughing a way at fans who support this team unconditionally no matter what he does or doesn't do to improve this team.

I am rooting for this team to lose and have for most of the season. I know that this team will never go anywhere under this HC, so I'd rather suffer a lot now to get this team fixed earlier. Andre Johnson deserves better and should demand a trade, and I wouldn't blame him one bit if he did.

People bashing other fans for not wanting this pile soft team to lose are unrealistic.
 
That's just not cool. To be so bitter and frustrated as to root against your team...that's just the ugly side of fandom. I personally will always cheer on the Texans, regardless of how mediocre and laughable they are. Kind of like this guy:

That is why you, Double Barrel and Herv are my favorites. You get it. You think fans in Philly would have put up with 3 years much less FIVE years of this crap. I do know this, if any of the guys I named above or myself were placed in charge of the Texans while kicking Moron McNair TOMORROW, we'd get this team into the playoffs NEXT YEAR. I'm that confident that the good posters on this board could do a better job in picking coaches and players than the guys paid to do so.

I will be in usual spot in Section 105, Row X wearing my Bernie Pollard jersey. I will be BOOING this team from the get go in 2 weeks. If you don't like that, be a man and tell me that to my face.

If McNair doesn't have any intention of firing GK by now, it ain't going to happen.

Stinking it up for 2 more games isn't going to do anything, but ruin my Sundays.

This season is a wash, who gives a crap if they win two meaningless games at the end of the year? The only exception being possibly eliminating the Jag offs last game of the year. Other than that, I want whats best for the team in the grand scheme of things and that, IMO, would be better draft position and getting rid of the current coaches.

That's why I rooted for UT to LOSE their remaining games so that Mack Brown was forced to fire GDGD. God, I have no idea how you could go through life and accept such mediocrity and failure. I don't and that is why I bet if you compared me to you in real life, that I would come out on top when it comes to who has the better job, hotter wife, nicer house, more money, etc. I don't put up with mediocrity.
 
The problem is not one random Mong on an otherwise forgetful message board post rooting for his team to lose, it's the fact that so many in Houston are allied in their ignorance.

Thank you. A man who gets it. I don't know what's happened to the fans in Houston. The years without a team softened WAY too many people here.
 
I like UT but the arrogance of some fans


Reminds me of some Cowboy fans and I root for the cowboy's too

Why don't you get a ****ing clue about what you are talking about. I wanted to threaten to sue the Texans because of TAILGATING ISSUES. I only wish that you could have a cause of action to sue this team for being the LOSERS they are.
