Houston to play denver

I just saw on NFL.COM that houston is set to play denver in our third preseason game. It's cool that the NFL did that. Do y'all think Kubiak will try harder to win that game? I mean, it's a preseason game so it really doesn't matter but it seems like he might want a win against his old friend and boss.

It win be a fun game to watch. the media will draw a zillion comparisons during the game which could get old but it will still be entertaining.

I hope we win even though it doesn't matter- just to give them that winning feeling.

Denver. They just did that probably becaue Kubiak is feeling nogalistc right now so the NFL made him feel better by doing it that way. Or probably just for competitve purposes, I don't know.

Can't wait to watch the Texans beat the Broncos here at Invesco Field. Hopefully it'll wash away the horrible taste from Houston's last regular season appearance here 2 years ago!!!

:twocents: The NFL does not schedule the preseason games, the clubs work out those arrangements themselves I believe. We have been playing the Broncos, Buccs, and Dallas every year and I believe we played KC last year also....They replaced the Saints on the PS schedule.

We always play Denver in the preaseason
Yes, but this is the first time we will play them with thier old coordinator as our head coach. the point was, it will be fun to see how kubiak handles it.

it be funny if their plays were similar also......but im sure its going to be a tight game for they both know each others weaknesses and strength, its going to be like a tuck of war straight from the kick off:cool:

Interestingly they chose the 3rd preseason game. Isn't that normally when the team plays their starters the deepest into the game?

It's just gonna be nice to see a coach on the sidelines w/o his handy-dandy notebook.

I think the players will play harder for Kubes and I think Kubes will be looking more at cuts and who stays.

here is the preseason schedule

Week 1 - Kansas City
Week 2 - at St. Louis
Week 3 - at Denver
Week 4 - Tampa Bay
