Honey Badger OUT

In the comments it says Peter King is reporting it was heroin use. Man, if you're going down, go down big I guess.

that sucks for us this year...

but if the heroine reports are true - the issue is this young man's life.

I hope he gets his stuff together.

wow...

I can't find anything anywhere that suggests there's any truth to that comment. Nothing on the SI website, and no Peter King tweets about Mathieu today at all.

Seems like a google search would turn up something if there was any truth to that at all. My guess is this just a message board poster being a douche.

Shame really. I'm gonna miss watching him this year. He was incredible last year (even if he disappeared in the championship game)

It's a good start...

It's been an agonizing decision making process for Tyrann Mathieu and his parents this week. But they've now decided, as a family, that Tyrann will remain at a drug rehab center in Houston for the near future, instead of returning to classes at LSU or any other college - in order to play football this fall.

The Honey Badger's father, Tyrone Mathieu, tells FOX 8 Sports that he and Tyrann agree -- until he conquers his demons, he won't be successful at his future endeavors, wherever they unfold. The senior Mathieu says both Tyrann and his family are committed to restoring Tyrann's health, no matter what it takes, believing football will take care of itself down the road.

Tyrann Mathieu has been at the Right Step recovery center in Houston since Monday.

10 bags of weed found. Sounds like these guys were dealing, not just simple possession. Another black eye to LSU and college football in general.

It's another example of major universities giving scholarships to drug dealers because they can run fast. While other young adults who'd like an education but can't afford it settle for low paying jobs, military, etc...
