From the redzone.com

DALLAS - The Dallas Cowboys on Tuesday suspended negotiations with Dallas County to build a new stadium in Fair Park because of differing vision for the stadium, the team's political consultants said.

Rob Allyn, the team's media consultant, said he would brief reporters on the decision later Tuesday but said team owner Jerry Jones would not comment.
:worm:

``Despite efforts by all parties to reach an agreement, in recent weeks it has become apparent that the team and Dallas County are too far apart for future negotiations to be fruitful,'' said the team's statement, issued by Allyn.

LA Crackboys.......... sounds good.

Rest of Story

IMO the resistance from the league, TV, fans, etc. mean that the Cowboys are the next to last likely team to move, Green Bay being the least likely as the city owns the team. JJ will get a stadium deal done--just think posturing.

Teams most likely to move to LA... Indy, San Diego, New Orleans ( state is shortchanging Benson - 7 million dollars)

The Cowboys will probably build their new stadium in Grapevine which is where DFW Airport is or Arlington.

I don't know if Irving can afford a new stadium.

Irving area has worked quite well for years, and I would actually prefer that area, Arlington or Grapevine instead of the Cotton Bowl. The Bowl is centrally located, but unless there are major freeway improvements the traffic could be an absolute nightmare. Getting stuck in a game/fair traffic in October could be worse that rush hour on the Katy Freeway.

I never did think the Fair Park idea would work out. It sounds good because they could redo the Cotton Bowl and make that real nice but the logistics didn't seem to work.

Irving, Grapevine or even Arlington would work much better.

Gotta admit though....would be nice if all crackboy fans had to move to east LA. eek:

Just wishful thinking.
