Guard in 5th or 6th Round

I am ND biased, but I think Dan Stevenson might be a really good pickup at guard in the later rounds of the draft. He would really fit the zone blocking scheme well. He is 6'5, 292lbs., smart, and flat out mean. Good development pick, that could be better then our current guards (maybe not Weigart when he is healthy - which is never) tomorrow.

He might be too small

Not in the zone blocking scheme Kubiak is going to implement...That would be about ideal size...We aren't going to take any 360 pound maulers like Lutui or Jean-Gilles because they simply don't fit into the scheme...For reference, these are the heights and weights of Denver's current starting OL...

LT: Matt Lepsis (6-4, 290)
LG: Ben Hamilton (6-3, 283)
C: Tom Nalen (6-3, 286)
RG: Cooper Carlisle (6-5, 295)
RT: George Foster (6-5, 338)

The only "big" guy on their line is Foster...
