The Green Bay Packers have traded fourth-year defensive end Jamal Reynolds to the Indianapolis Colts for a future undisclosed draft choice, GM/Head Coach Mike Sherman announced Thursday.

Reynolds, the Packers' first-round draft choice in 2001, played 18 games in three years, recording 17 tackles (11 solo), three sacks, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.

The 6-foot-3, 260-pound defensive end battled a left knee injury during most of his first two seasons. Healthy for the first time in 2003, he was inactive for 11 games (the Packers typically de-activate at least one defensive lineman).

If he (Reynolds) ever plays to his potential, he and Dwight Freeney would make one of the best pair of DEs in the league.

Thats is completly true. There is one problem though, they cant resign both with Manning's contract. :D

The Green Bay Packers have announced the trade of DE Jamal Reynolds to the Indianapolis Colts has been voided after Reynolds failed the Colts' physical. Under terms of the trade, Reynolds' rights reverted back to Green Bay. In turn, the Packers have waived Reynolds.
