Grade the Jaguard draft

So, what do you think? The first three makes me think they either got extremely lucky, or they finally figured it out. These guys are going to have a definite impact on their 2016 season.

I picked a B because of your tough criteria for an A. That's Texans 2006 draft to get an A!

I'm ignoring the specific criteria listed and giving them an A. They killed it. Biggest need coming in was front seven and pass rush help and they added 3 pass rushers, a stud LB, and a stud DB.

Mack was one of my favorite players in the draft. But if he ends up needing microfracture surgery, it could be 2018 before we see anything close to his best. Even without Mack, this is a very good draft. And with Fowler coming back, the Jags defense could be awesome in a couple of years.

The way I understand it, he's cleared to play. Microfracture may be necessary down the road, but they may be as much as three years down the road, or six. He might have a stellar career, earn a second contract, then have issues with his knee.


Or.. it may be two years & he'll never see that second contract.

It's the Jags... I can only hope that in 3 years this will be the worst draft in NFL history

But I think they improved a lot this offseason...

They aced it, but they aren't gonna have 3 Pbs, but gotta give it up or the Jags. Our division is getting nothing but tougher.

B....only b/c its hard to not here all the hype behind these prospects they got & we know that at least 1 of their top 2 guys won't pan out & they'd better hope its Ramsey & not Jack b/c Jack is the better player imo. There were 3 players i just did not see all the hype about & the Jags got 1 of them in Jalen Ramsey. Reminds me eerily of the rams' Tye Hill pick a few years ago or that other kid that buffalo drafted a few years ago....Kelvin. Anyway, both of those guys were busts. Myles Jack...different story. Athletic, instinctive, good tackler....the kid will be a monster............................if he's able to stay healthy & doesn't need mircofracture surgery. the others i have no idea who they are so i can't comment on them.
