Glad you were there Pete. It's been too long.![]()
Just decided to get back off the bench and get back into the game.
Yep.
Kubiak is yet another McNair 'rookie' mistake. Kubiak never was a HeadCoach in the NFL, just at Carr was never a QB. McNair is making the same mistake over again with Kubiak that he did with Carr. Loyalty is a very good thing, but not in a business situation. McNair gave Carr an extension, he also gave Kubiak one. Despite the fact that the record on both of them shows they did not warrent an extension. Kubiak interviewed once before for a head coach prior to the Texans with the Raiders, and Davis said he wasn't ready. Davis is a lousy owner, but he was right Kubiak was and still isn't ready.
Capers is a very good Defensive Coordinator, lousy Head Coach. Kubiak is a very good Offensive Coordinator, lousy Head Coach. Both of them had a shot at HC and failed. Remember, insanity is doing the same thing repeatedly but expecting different results.
When is McNair going to stop acting like a rookie owner and get a Head Coach in here who has actually BEEN a Head Coach before. Problem with that idea is who is available, would be worth hiring, and would actually be interested in taking the job.

Now there's the million dollar question.
Thanks to all those who missed me, it is good to see and be posting again. The board is doing well and I have been lurking for quite some time now. Just decided to get back off the bench and get back into the game.
