Pat Kirwan of NFL.com said:I asked a high-ranking Houston official if there is any chance they could trade out of the top pick, and as I expected, of course, he said they will explore that option. With a number of quarterbacks in the top of this draft (Matt Leinart, Vince Young, Jay Cutler) there are teams that will want to move up. As the man from Houston said, "Once we know how many players we would like to have will determine how far we would be willing to move down, or maybe we won't move at all." The game is on!

Very interesting. The amount of players that the Texans want will influence their decision on trading down or not. I would think that after going 2-14 they would want quite a few players, but that just my opinion. I now think the Texans are considering the move down even more than I expected.
But I just want to know who is the "High-ranking Houston official" that he spoke to. I know CC is there, so is Kubiak, alot of other scouts are there, but would they be considered "high-ranking officials"?
