Being treated as he should.

Hope this continues all night.

The fans letting the man who's ruining the game know how they feel about him and his style of what can loosely be called leadership.

Loving it

Pretty pathetic actually. Three of the greatest Cowboys ever standing up there and these losers can't put that aside and show some respect?

God'ell can run but he can't hide. Fans can't stand the guy and let him know every chance they get. To that I say kudos

You didn't hear them cheering when the Cowboys were announced)

Yet those fans are there and the place is packed. Yeah, I'm sure he gives AF.

They give him hell every year and I don't think he or the owners care at this point. I will say he is easily the least popular major sport commissioner.

So the NFL is not a thriving business and you honestly don't think Roger G doesn't care.

Hahaha man where do you come up with all this classic comedic stuff from Steelbtexan?

Don't fool yourself. The NFL will be a thriving business no matter who the commisoner is.

Can it be managed better?

I think we know the answer.

True on both statements. But let's also be mindful of the fact that he's still the commish is very telling. Meaning the majority of the owners thinks he's doing a great job. If he wasn't, he wouldn't be in that prestigious position.

He has the job so HE MUST be good at it? What kinda logic is that?

I have a job and have never been fired. Guess that means I'm good at it or can't be fired.

Glad you're happy with the current state of the NFL

Love him or hate him, he’ll continue being the NFL Comissioner. Not saying I particularly like the guy, but the 32 NFL Team owners’ opinion carries more weight than mine ever will.

Glad you're happy with the current state of the NFL

You never read in my post that I was happy. Please read again and don't assume. You're a numbers guy so go pull up how financially blessed that industry is. And like I said, if the owners were not happy with Rogers G production, they wouldve been let him go instead of given him an extension last year.

Dec 6, 2017 · Roger Goodell has signed a five-year contract extension to remain the commissioner of the NFL, according to a letter obtained by ESPN. ... Roger Goodell got his extension. ... The NFL commissioner has signed a new deal that could pay him $40 million per year through the 2023 season.

Just because the owners are happy with the $$$$ they're making and extending a politician like God'ell, doesn't make letting him ruin the game the right thing to do.

BTW, the owner should be noticing that viewership is down 20% and trying to make that $$$$ up in London is only going to damage the brand even more. This doesn't even mention the damage caused by the owners terrible rule changes and the owners letting God'ell subjectively punish players/franchises as he sees fit, regardless of whether he has evidence of wrong doing. It seems as though he's using his position to try to get the parity the NFL has long for.

Look at the teams he has punished with little to no evidence, Pats/Cowboys/Saints/Vikings/Chiefs/Redskins. All successful franchises that were playoff teams when they were punished.

You dont see the Bills/Browns/Bengals etc... being punished.

Please dont bother responding to this post, we are never going to agree and are just wasting time.

Hating him is a waste of time,Commissioners have no power, they are just figure heads, window dressing.. they say what they are told to say by the owners.
