Texans | D. Williams injury update
Thu, 22 Feb 2007 11:26:05 -0800

Houston Texans general manager Rick Smith, during the NFL Combine, said RB Domanick Williams (knee) is entering the strengthening phase of his rehabilitation process. Williams spent the 2006 season on Injured Reserve.

"David Carr is our starter".

Rick is saying what he needs to say to strengthen David's trade value, but I really like his style. He had a lot of good to say about David, Mario and Domanick.

Calm down Haters.( I know what's coming) ...Don't let this deflate your sails.:cry2:

I only take this to mean Smith isn't listening to you when it comes to having a fire sale. He ain't gonna give Carr away.

"they will only make a deal if it improves the team as a whole."

Obviously Smith doesn't buy into the haters theory that moving Carr = instant improvement.

May cooler heads prevail. :jumpbanan

Could be.

He may be strengthening Carrs value.

He may actually mean Carr is our starter. (Barring a fair value trade.)

In spite of my many posts defending Carr I am not opposed to a trade.

It actually may be in the Texans, and Carrs, best interest.

Its good to hear this guy is in charge of personel rather than some people on this board. Unlike what McClain would have everybody believe, they are not going to get rid of Carr simply for the sake of getting rid of him.
