Can't wait to watch the game tonight between the Texans and the Raiders, but besides our guys trying to make positive impressions and make the cut, between Randy Moss and Robert Gallery which player will you be watching on the other side of the ball? the first couple of series are key because thats usually about it for the first teamers but if anyone cares to make a comment tonight and post here about thier impressions I'll be checking it latter and would appreciate it :ok:

I'll be watching #96 Grant Irons at ROLB. Local kid from the Woodlands who I've followed since HS.

I'll also be watching their first round draft choice CB #27 Fabian Washington and second round UH product CB #26 Stanford Routt who both have speed to burn. You will also see Washington on punt returns.

I'll also be watching #34 Lamont Jordan out of the backfield, and of course #53 Jay Foreman.

I'm not sure why I even mentioned Moss other than I thought it would be cool to see him live playing on the Relient turf.

Robert Gallery is really something but offensive lineman usually never get the pub or stats so you have to actually see the game to realize exactly how magnificent their play is. I'm sure he did a good job of protecting Collins and opening holes for Jordan.

Good point on Foreman I had forgotten that the Raiders had picked him up.

There was one guy I forgot to mention however that really impressed me in researching last years draft and that was a LB from San Diego State named Kirk Morrison, how did he look? funny in my Mock draft I had the Texans selecting him with our second 3rd rd pick #78 that was traded to the Raiders in the PB deal, then the Raiders pick him @ #78

well I'll watch the game later and see from myself but I appreciate the feedback AJ :thumbup

Morrison looked pretty good. He's a very effective tackler, and he's got very good quickness. He definately has a nose for the ball.

he reminded me alot of Morlan Greenwood speed wise and having a nose for the ball, but you can really see that he needs to develop as is the case for most rookies.

Gallery looked really good, he loves to hit & punish guys so he seems happy playing RT.

Moss gets too much space, luckily Coleman fooled him & Collins at the goaline.

Foreman should be starting instead of Irons.

Jordan looked terrific as did both Domanick & Vernand :texans:

I saw Washington splitting punt return duty with Carr in practice last Thursday - that's why I mentioned it - so even though you may not have seen it in game action, I know they are giving him some opportunities in practice.
