A few things to make you go :hmmm:

Keith Burnett in the top 10
Vince Carter a 1st r pick
no Marcus Spears in the 1st
and my fave :Denver drafting Cadillac Williams

this is one of the absolute worst mocks i have seen. this is an embaressment. unless some of those guys are running a 4.2 and benching 400+ there is no way this will happen anything like that. marcus spears will be a first round pick. mike williams will not fall to 21. the chargers wont take pac man, they have an outstanding young secondary. the chargers will probally take williams.
Who is vince carter? Erasmus James at #6? the titans need tackles and a secondary, maybe a qb to groom. Kevin Burnett in top half? Carlos rogers and elton brown are projected as 2nd rounders, not top half of first round. thomas davis will be gone before cinci. look for detroit on thomas davis. shawne marriman is top half of draft at least. Cadillac williams will not last till 25...he most likely will be taken by tampa...25!!!??!! corey webster is a mid second round talent at best.

basicly what im trying to say is fox must smoking somthing. this man who made it should be fired on the spot. don't they have editors? who else could think this is a realistic draft? this is horrible. fox fell flat on its face. :thud:
 
This mock is as credible as any at this time of year. Nobody had Dunta in the top 10 last year at this time, and most mocks had Wilfork as a top 5 pick. Vince Carter is probably ideal for Gibbs schemes and some feel is the best Center in the draft. First rd? I donno, but I keep saying this draft is going to produce some shockers. I just don't see that many elite talents. Most of these guys probably grade pretty close to the same and there is a big block of them, so try to keep an open mind.
 
All I have to say is that if Cadillac falls that far and Marcus doesnt get picked in the 1st, then the world has to be coming to an end. :hairpull:
 
One thing I agree with on this mock - 3 RBs (maybe not even 2), will not be taken in the top 10-12 picks. Gobs and gobs of mocks have Cedric & the 2
Auburn guys all going in the top 10. Not gonna happen - these guys are all Emmit type backs: steady, competant but not in the OJ or Bo category where they possess size & tremendous sprinter speed to give them blinding upside in the NFL.

Well last year at this time, I thought we were going to have a shot at Ahmad Carroll, a.k.a
"batman"in the second to third rounds. He was very raw, but he played well and covered several positions for the hogs. At the very least , he was going to be a terror on special teams with his speed. At the high end he had a chance to be a very nice cover coner.
But after the combine he shot up the boards and everyone was scratching their heads. The scouts info is starting to leak out about this class and guys are starting move on the boards. Happens every year. How many RB's went in the first the last two drafts ? Not many. I luv Cedric Benson. I wouldn't mind seeing him on the Texan's roster. But I don't think he is first round tallent. He will be a good blue chip pro. I don't believe he would unseat DD as the Texan's starter. Watch what Tennessee does this week and that is what happens when the bill on the cap comes due. Do you pay first round money for a guy who will ride the pine ? Or do you go after someone who will contribute. DD & his agent would love it if the Texan's took another RB in the first.
I can see some of these guys going high out of need. But I gotta a quarter that says Tampa goes wide out day one. Once they do that'll push the RB's down. Bigmen, people who can protect the passer, or get to the passer and people who can cover across the feild are the ones that are coveted. The heard of RBs this year is good not great. Might be a Walter Payton in the bunch. I didn't see a "can't miss" HOFER though. I might be wrong. We'll see. JMHO.

Interesting, the pats pick up another good player at the 32 spot. Wonder if Bruschi's med problems will change this in April ? If we're going to pick somebody to stand up I hope it's Roth instead of Cody. JMHO.

Are you telling me that Steven Jackson was a better RB prospect than Ceddy is? Ced would have been taken over Steven had he decided to to come out as a Jr.
 
:howdy: Bottle we're serious playoff contenders next week , layoff the Buds . I'd believe next season . If Spears is there in the twentys is it ok to pull another Babin like trade ?
 
yes, it would be ok to do that trade, you get a huge DE and you can get someone higher like maybe a pac man or justin miller, someone worth that high a pick, plus spears....wow...
that would constitue a great draft right there. only thing i see better is drafting david bass in the second round. that is an exelent draft. one can only dream...
 
It all depends on whos there at #13. Wha if we can get DJ at 13, then trade Dallas' 3rd and nextb years 1st to move up for Spears then get Bass or Brown with our 2nd rounder. :banana:
 
:howdy: Then you have an infusion of young talent at three needed positions . We can just nurture the team like a farmer with his prize tomatoes and just let them ripen on the vine . I think its exciting to have alot of young players with a huge upside .
