Former Texan OC Godsey now a Lions Defensive Assistant

Not to be an Osweiler apologist, but this is one more piece of evidence that says Osweiler was only part of the problem.

Which still doesn't absolve his own integral part of the problem.

They've all got problems. From Tom Brady to Case Keenum.

The thing I'm curious about is whether or not Brock demonstrated more problems last season than O'b recognized when he selected him in the off season. Which leads to, does O'b still believe there is something there that warrants $19M/yr (or whatever we're calling it now).

It's always been my belief that as long as the team is winning, the QB buys himself time to keep learning, on the field.

You're not apologizing for him, but you just invoked Tomy Brady when mentioning Os' problems ... ok.

But I threw in Case Keenum, that should balance it out.

My point is did O'b get what he expected or not. If he did & Godsey was more than just a scapegoat, I expect to see Osweiler trotted out as our starting QB again in 2017.

Nah bud, I think bringing the GOAT into i tips the scale a little bit.

Beyond that though I get what you mean about Godsey/Os, I just happen to think Oscar will still stink as his problems weren't depended on poor coaching.
