already, putting up the white flag, sticking your damn tail between your legs and walking away...
For each one of you boasting "I'm selling my tickets" or "I'm burning my Texans gear," there will be 3 more right back there to fill the funnel and realize this is a new team and that this move can help this team get to the next level.
I lived in Katy my entire life until a year ago I moved to Phoenix. I've constantly tried to stand up for my city, it's people, and it's sports teams. Phoenix is a melting pot, people from everywhere. I see tons of Cubs fans, BoSox fans, Bears fans, etc, and they stick together, through thick and thin to pimp their team.
I've now realized, especially with the Astros even more, that this city has horrible fans. Frontrunners, at best. I know we're not all like that, but instances like this, where all this "boycotting the team" crap has all of a sudden become the popular thing to day, it's hard to defend those actions.
Most of all, we're Texans, the proudest people in country. Maybe that's why we're so passionate about stuff like this. However, Texans don't run, they don't get scared. Stand up, accept this pick, and f'ing deal with it.
