already, putting up the white flag, sticking your damn tail between your legs and walking away...

For each one of you boasting "I'm selling my tickets" or "I'm burning my Texans gear," there will be 3 more right back there to fill the funnel and realize this is a new team and that this move can help this team get to the next level.

I lived in Katy my entire life until a year ago I moved to Phoenix. I've constantly tried to stand up for my city, it's people, and it's sports teams. Phoenix is a melting pot, people from everywhere. I see tons of Cubs fans, BoSox fans, Bears fans, etc, and they stick together, through thick and thin to pimp their team.

I've now realized, especially with the Astros even more, that this city has horrible fans. Frontrunners, at best. I know we're not all like that, but instances like this, where all this "boycotting the team" crap has all of a sudden become the popular thing to day, it's hard to defend those actions.

Most of all, we're Texans, the proudest people in country. Maybe that's why we're so passionate about stuff like this. However, Texans don't run, they don't get scared. Stand up, accept this pick, and f'ing deal with it.

I AM dealing with it...the best way I can. Massive amounts of alcohol. If you'll excuse me there's a shot glass with my name on it.

Hey man, whatever floats your boat, I'd say that's a Texan way to handle it ;)

It's not even the fact that I don't think Mario is going to be a good player. I just think we could have gotten more value trading down and still getting Mario if he was our pick. I guess it's not a HORRIBLE pick, I guess I'm just disappointed we didn't get full value out of the first pick.

We were in a bind. We couldnt deal with anyone, so we were pretty much forced into this.

Unfortunate, yah maybe. End of the world? Hardly.
