Is it just me or do alot of people say the dumbest things? Iv'e been seeing alot of the post by some people that is way in-accurate lol. Then someone replies after them and corrects them. People need to stop making assumptions and read more =p just teasn, thought it was funny how people post lk their so smart and look so retarded heh

Athletes are figures of entertainment.People who talk about athletes are stating their opinions. Noone is ever right and noone is ever wrong. The only time a person can be wrong about an athlete is when incorrect statistics are stated. Your mini-rant is very far off base.
 
Im not talking about opinions, im talking about facts, people have their facts wrong. Iv'e just noticed it alot

I see, I have no idea on cap numbers I have seen 2 different websites show 2 different numbers (yet I can't remember which ones) :confused:
 
normally my side is the truth. So if you are ever having a debate and you cant decide which side is correct.. ask me and ill let you know what the truth is.

example.

Your Side: We need to sign a #2 WR!

Their Side: No we need to draft a #2 WR!

My Side(AKA "The Truth"): We dont need a #2 WR.. we have plenty of young talent.
 
Ok i second the motion that this is a dumb thread, and Texans88 should be given mod powers to delete it. Im not just doing it for Texans88 either, im lookin out for the poor guy who created it, he's catching hell for his "mini rant" as someone called it and no harm was meant. This just got blown out of proportion.

So i'll change the subject.

How bout those rockets ha?...hmmm....ha? 30 point blowout eh? Looks like we're back to old form. :heh:

I'll give you a few of examples:

1) people that say things like DD is too small to be an everydown back (221 lbs), we need someone like Clinton Portis (205 lbs).

2) people that pull impressions out of thin air like Jason Babin needs to gain 15-20 lbs if he is going to be like Kevin Greene when Babin (259 lbs) is already bigger than Greene (247 lbs).

or my personal favorite

3) the Texans are too predictable, conservative, etc.--they ran on 1st and 2nd down everytime in the 2nd half of X game when a simple look at the game book will show the Texans passed on 1st down 60% of the 2nd half.

To respond to the original post, I wouldn't say people are being dumb in general, just sloppy. They form an impression and then don't do the research, like watching or rewatching the games or bothering to spend the time to confirm their impression with facts like actual player weights, etc.

yall all got me wrong. IM not sayin that, im talking about real FACTS, that are written or typed boldy for everyone to see. Someone says something other than the fact, it makes them look stupid lol.
