Tonight was a gift for me. A gift of good tickets and a blue parking pass. So live.. I was there... I was there surrounded by thousands of dallas fans... I was ready for the Texans to rock the house.
Sadly, it was the Texans who got rocked. Here is what I saw ... "sighing quite often'.
My God David, where was your head tonight. In warm ups, he was laughing, joking and throwing some decent balls. When the whistle blew, something happen. David was overthrowing AND throwing behind people ALL night. Oh sorry, he did underthrow one ball which made one of the Dallas cornerbacks T Newson happy. His performance was so bad, I leaned into my wife and said 'dont worry, Carrs having a bad night, Banks will do better'.
Hollings... Bye my friend. You showed me nothing that will keep you on this team tonight.. nothing... at all..
Peek - Sack.. Good boy! Keep that up. Peek was hurt with that collison I think (oppesite side of the field) with Gary Walker. He was playing hurt for the rest of the night, and I think (seriously) he might have gotten a concussion from it because he was too steady on his feet after that play.
About 20% of the plays had Dallas QB's rushed... other then that, they were not touched.
Andre... AJ... Even he didnt look on his game tonight.
Two lights.. one was the decent play of Morency. Cut them for several longs, but most got penalities. two was a return by Swinton. His leap over a guy was classic, but mathis had a good return too.
Mathis has something that concerns me. He is reported at running a 4.2 forty right... Has he slowed up or something. He has people ALL over him and he wasnt beating ANYONE.
Speaking of that, did anyone notice the wierd thing about #31 Bucanan tonight>? He came on the field 5 minutes before anyone else came out of the locker room and he left alone also about 5 minutes after everyone else had gone in.. Just thought it was strange.
Swinton.. dude.. good play, but the rest was not to be desired. Not his fault on a few passes, but there were a few that were.
Kasper did not help him being kept tonight. Most was not his fault, but he will get blamed for them.
Sloan Thomas start out bad, then quickly turned it into possiblity of retention of team. If Thomas 'didnt' make the team tonight (not saying he had incredible plays, but he had reliable plays), then I will be quite disappointed in Texans leadership.
