just wondering what criteria have you used to break up the paragraphs?

theres quite a few players missing, so is the non-bolded your 2nd tier favourites or something.

The criteria to break up the paragraphs was based on what round we might take the player in or where I think we could afford to take the player in. Before I used to try and predict a player based on what everyone said was his value and I would find myself getting disappointed at players we took or didn't take because I thought we should've got somewhere else but obviously our team didn't have that player rated as high or low as I did or at all.

So what I've done now is just list my players that I like based on how they would work in our offense or defense, try to gauge where I think they could land with us but not really care about it. I've seen myself be alot happier with that.

For example Garrett Graham was #53 on my list of players the Texans would probably need or want on our team. I believe he was taken somewhere around the 5th round. I was excited about the pick, alot of people weren't and mostly it was because they didn't think the Texans needed a TE so they thought it was a wasted pick. However, I didn't look at need. I looked at how he could possibly be an Owen Daniels clone and it wouldn't be a bad thing to have him on the team. Turns out I was right but way off on where he would go, but I was still looking in the same ball park as the Texans.

I did this last year too and I believe I got it right on Brooks Reed, and Brandon Harris but was way off on the round because I had Reed going in the first and I couldn't predict us moving up to get Harris.

Yes, the non-bolded are my second tier favorites but not all of it it is because I think the bolded are better but simply because I believe they might not be around for us when we pick.

What players do you think are missing? Some I excluded just because I don't think they will be available for us.

So glad to see that my 7th best player on my list who I thought would be available was there and picks 1-5 for me were already gone so we took Mercilus. WOW!!!!

I updated my list above and now I'm looking forward to getting a good OL or WR today. I'm hearing Mitchell Schwartz in the 2nd and I will not be mad at that. From what I hear, he's actually the best OL in this draft by most NFL OL Coaches.

Out of my whole list we drafted:
Whitney Mercilus and Randy Bullock

and got UDFAs:
Eddie Pleasant and Case Keenum.

Pretty happy about that but was bummed that more of my guys weren't selected. Although I can't be upset with that because most of them were gone by the time we picked (Brian Quick).
