Bill Williamson, of the Denver Post, reports the agent for free agent OL Dwayne Carswell (Broncos) said he plans to contact the Houston Texans about his client.

I don't know a thing about Carswell, but if the Texans were interested I would think he would have been contacted already.

Kubiak, as a first year head coach, does seem to have a comfort level with ex broncos around.

He has an very interesting background.......Pro Bowl TE, reciever, STs, OL........he seems to have been a significant "force" with the Broncs all the way up to the time of his accident last October. If he could pick up where he left off, even with his age, he might be a good pickup.

I think Carswell can take the place of Bruener. From what I understand he is a good run blocker but has caught many a TD pass over his career.
