It always is (it'll be on ESPN), the days are April 29-30, not sure of the exact time, and it takes many hours to complete the draft... but I can watch it all. :drool:
 
Not sure but I remember reading somewhere that the Texans had a draft day party or something like that. You would think they would do something like that again this year especially if we keep the #1 pick. Maybe someone else might have some more info on this.
 
second year in a row that the 1st day of the draft is on the same day as my daughter's birthday party.
This will only be her second birthday... this trend better end or she'll have her birthday lumped in with Easter...

I'll tell you right now that you probably won't want to watch the second day at all.

I usually watch all of the first round, and then the second round up until we get to pick again. After that, I'll flip to it occasionally. Second day, I don't watch at all. No point sitting around for hours anticipating players who probably won't even make the team. We can always disect who we got later.
 
After about the 40th pick, I am usually done. Then I just TiVo the rest & watch only the Texans picks & what Rich Eisen or whoever says about them.

yes, ESPN day 1 and ESPN2 day 2
it is on sat. apr. 29th and sun. 30th
draft coverage has started at noon in the past.
it usually takes about 2 days for the whole thing.

As this post says on the time. As for the length, I think 1st round picks you get 15 minutes to decide on your pick, make a trade, etc. then 10 minutes for the following rounds, so it drags on after the first half of the 1st round. I usually watch the 1st round or so then get bored with it and watch something else while keeping up with it on ESPN.com.

As for the draft party, I'm sure they'll have it again this year. I don't know what time it will start or where it will be, last year it was on the club level at the stadium and started probably an hour before the draft did, they had locker room tours, food, drinks, etc. that you could buy and had the cheerleaders there and other stuff to do, and the tickets to get in were free, all you had to do was get on their website and request them. I don't know when they'll post the ticket request thing on the website, but just check on there periodically, probably start checking for it within a couple weeks.
