Draft Idea... Take #3 off Clevelands hands

I'm just throwing out ideas here, no facts, just ideas. If Cleveland doesn't want a QB (which it realy needs), they need Oline help more than anything, they could trade down to the #13 pick and we could have #3 and take DJ, if in fact that is what we are looking for. Or, we could just stay put and see what happens. It all usually works out in the end anyway. Remember, the last two of our number one picks have been very close to getting the AP ROY, so i trust our scouting dept. to make a good pick.

I'd love to trade up and grab DJ, but not if it costs us future draft picks. We can likely get Spears or Pac-man or an O-lineman at #13. I'll be content with whatever we do though.

i doubt cleveland will do that ! we can get some good o-line men with the 13 pick, i mean if the staff decides to get some o-line players !

As much as I would love to have DJ, he is not IMO suited for the 3-4. Also with our needs, we need more picks not less.

agree plus i think we have enough talent at those positions, although i wouldnt complain if we were to some how end up with him !

also as good as he is the three pick is a little to high. their is no point in giving up draft picks for some one who will be available atleast 5 picks later.

To trade up to 3, we'd have to give up almost every other pick we have this year, DJ is a good player, but he's not worth all that...

DJ would be fine in the 3-4.

But I would rather stay @ #13 and see who falls. And DJ will not fall. Every year there is a player we all want, and think he will fall to us. Like Sean Taylor. They get gobbled up as soon as a team has a slight need for them.

Romeo Crennel is a defensive coach. Why would he pass up DJ or any other top defensive pick? I just think that Romeo is going to build a defense first and if he thinks there is a playmaker at the #3 pick then he is not going to pass on him.

The other pilosophy might be worth considering as well. Maybe he will think the pick is too high to get a real team player. Perhaps he trades down to a more down to Earth player and gets extra picks.

I would be leaning toward him trading down maybe to the #6-8 spot. I don't think he will go all the way down to 13 though.

Also their GM is Phil Savage. The ravens old GM. Sooo thats a Defensive oriented GM, and Head Coach.

And I dont know why people are so down on Garcia, and Holcomb.
