Dom Capers on Morlon and Defense

ya know he is actually one of the very few sports writers i dont mind. I mean he dont just throw stuff out there for no reason,,,whether he talks good or bad about the texans he always has good reasons !
 
well i haven't been a mcclain fan ever...but the one thing i always have to admitt is unlike a lot of other sport writers he actually seems to have the inside info on most things...a lot of the other writers just write stuff to fill the page
 
This part convinces me even more so to keep an eye on Robert McCune. He definitely fits this criteria. I say if he's there in the 3rd, we take him. Maybe, even in the 2nd.

I am excited about having greenwood. I have always felt that houston always gets good sportsmen to play for their teams whether football, baseball, or basketball and that is why I like them. (biggio, bagwell, carr, AJ, etc.). Greenwoods work ethic and physical ability will improve our team as a whole. Good article.

yeah well not amazing enough considering Houston only has 2 championships total out of 3 professional teams !
 
Correction: 6 championships out of 4 teams.

At least we had a dynasty we could have been proud about >_>
 
hmmm 6 championships,,,,i dont think so,,,the rockets won 2 back to back but thats all i can ever remember,,,the astros have never won the world series and the texans/oilers have never won a superbowl,,,,unless ur refering the Comets or the Aeros,,,but man you know what i mean. the 3 MAJOR sports teams in houston !
 
The Comets rule, they won the 1st 4 WNBA titles, and they need to get some respect.

But back to Greenwood. I think he will definitely benefit the Texans, because even though we might lose Sharper, now we have a player that can play sideline to sideline with the type of speed he has. If we could only get Peek on the field.
 
i mean dont get me wrong i respect the comets and their championships, but when people think basketball in houston they think rockets not comets. But Greenwood should really help our defense in stuffing the run and pressuring the QB a little better this season !
