Dj Swearinger's a Cardinal

I imagine getting cut from 2 different teams within a couple months can be quite humbling and would take some of the swagger out of DJ. I'll bet he might be begging to play special teams by now.

So Swagg just got two years younger...

You're likely familiar with the Elias Sports Bureau, the be-all and end-all for historical sports statistics and data. But Elias has another important function; they supply countless sports websites with athletes' birthday information. Whatever birthday Elias has on record for an athlete is the birthday that will show up on his profile on various sites. This is almost never an issue, as Elias is remarkably accurate with this sort of thing.

But Elias got it wrong with free agent safety D.J. Swearinger, who spent the last two seasons with the Cardinals. The site initially said that Swearinger was 27 years old, but he is actually 25 years old.

So bad of a pick he's only become a solid starter at his position for a very good defense.

He's not a starter but he has found a niche in Arizona and has developed a stable attitude on the field that doesn't hurt his team.

He wasn't technically a starter I guess, but he started pretty much half the season when Matthieu got hurt. Before that though he was still on the field a bunch as a third safety.

I should have clarified. Yes he started a bunch of games but he was the #4 Safety and ended up starting after Mathieu and Tyvon Branch both got injured. I was just pointing out the semantics that he's not an actual starter.
