This is the very reason most things done by Corporations, Government, and Big Time Institutions go unreported and uninvestigated...this type of response this guy got, because everyone assumes the accused parties are above reproach.

I thought about that too, but if I were in his shoes I wouldn't really contact anyone. I wouldn't take it that seriously, I'd give the player the benefit of the doubt. In all honesty, I wouldn't tell anyone out of laziness.

BUT .. the more I think about it, if i caught a University of Tennessee player I'd turn him immediately. But I do have a deep hatred for that school.

You know it happens at EVERY school. What's the point of turning the guy in? they're just going to find sneakier ways of concealing it.

Well I'm still waiting for a top BCS school to get it in the same place that SMU got it. I can understand why they had to pay kids to go to SMU. What I do not understand is how they kill off SMU's program and let schools like Bama, Texas, U of H, and now Oklahoma...slide. Ok this one is more than a smoking gun. Yes, they turned themselves in, but , pretty danged frivolous attitude by all parties involved.

Don't know for a fact about Texas but... I can add 2 & 2 toghether. Got a guy, poor guy, with five pounds of pot in the car. Stupid enough to call the cops while he has the pot in his car. Ok where did this Einstien get the 1500 or so to purchase the pot with in the first place ? That story is under the rock now. But you gotta wonder. The answer of course is he who has the gold makes the rules. In these cases, the BCS schools has a collar around the necks of the UIL. I have no doubt, OU will get a slap on the wrist for this, nothing more. Been a while since the NCAA has walked the walk.
