Defense was worst in the League

I've brought it up before, but it is not fun or flashy to talk about like RB & VY:

The Texans 05 defense was the worst in the league, giving up 26 points per game. I don't care who you have on offense, it would be next to impossible to make the playoffs with that defense.

That, and the fact that the Texans have to play INDY twice a year, is why the pick was made. Nothing else to analyze, end of story.

To all the fairweather fans making an exit, good luck on finding a new team and don't invest too much in memorabilia

And you forgot to mention the curious correlation between the lack of turnovers early in the season and the lack of victories.

PREACH PREACH!!!! I'd rather be the Steelers with a Superb D and Consistent O than the Colts with a Superb O and Shaky D.

Great pitching will always shut down great hitting....same logic here different sport.

I'm glad to see that there are those of us out there pro-Mario.

Our defense is was awful. Our talent didn't fit the proposed scheme.

Mario Williams is the answer.

The question is what can player can the Texans sign to immediately improve every player on the defense??

I think the addition of Weaver, T. Johson from last year, and Williams and whoever they decie will play the other DT will make a great young line. Babin and Peek will give good rotation.

We still need to address LB and the secondary but i like the direction this staff has taken.
