Dear Mr. NcNair:
It has come to YOUR and OUR attention that the team who plays its home games at Reliant Stadium is a piece of sh (you finish the rest). Sure, you spent billions of dollars on this and wanted to ride this thing out for a little while.
Well take the sausage off the grill, put on the eggs, and put the tortillas in the microwave because the timer of this current administration is up. There needs to be an immediate change. Some heads definitely need to roll. The impact of Charlie Casser-$%&!-Holes recent complete idiotic moves will do as much bad to this team as good that came out for the Cowboys in the Herschel Walker deal. If not familiar with that deal, when he last stepped off the field with the Cardinals he was the NFL All Time Leading Rusher. Emmitt Smith. Others to come along were Darren Woodson, Russell Maryland, and Kevin Smith. There were four others as well. Let me make sure I am making my point. The impact that trade had on Dallas winning three super bowls correlates to the negativity caused to the Texans during Casser$%&!Holes reign. Peppers-Carson Palmer? Carr-Andre Johnson? An obvious choice. IT goes on, Pitts-Portis? And people want to blame the defense. Well hell, they had some and you took it away from them. . There is no reason why Jamie Sharper and Aaron Glenn should not be Texans right now.
And we all know your team is one of the top 3 most valuable franchises in the NFL. Yet, we cut spending and dont spend the maximum allotted like most competitive teams. You keep trying to get the Super Bowl to come to Houston, certainly you want Houston to go to the Super Bowl? [And win] Sure you can be a team like the Cardinals in football, Brewers in baseball, but we wont show up. Wasnt that a reason Bud left? We just want to see progress and a good competitive team. Sorry Bob, the new franchise tag doesnt have that good new smell anymore.
Honeymoon is over, heads need to roll immediately. We all saw what happened to the Astros last year after the All-Star Break. Bring in new coaches, and a few new players and try to salvage some of this season, you have the cap room, remember, I already told you that one. The town in fed up, there is no reason not to. 14-2 still makes the playoffs last time I checked. You may, and I know some of the players have the attitude that going 12-2 at this point in the season. If thats the attitude you have, then you dont belong in the NFL, and you certainly dont belong on the Houston Texans. The name Houston Texans is based on pride. Pride in your citys people, evident right now, pride in your city, proud in your state, but most of all proud to be a Houston Texans. You dont want to be looked at as just another franchise. You want to have that aura about you, that ring. Dallas Cowboys. Los Angeles Lakers. The Ohio State University. You know a team that puts the in front of their name means business. Im sure you can remember watching NFL Films shows a long time ago, hearing about the Purple People Eaters, Monsters of the Midway, Iron Curtain. What do you want your franchise to be thought of around the league? The Michael Jordan or Michael Bolton?????
I saw two guys get crunk out there, Andre Johnson and Antwan Peek. I also heard Dunta and G. Walk did? G Walk? I look during a timeout and every Texan player on defense has their helmet off, about ¾ of the Steelers had them on. I dont think Bill Cowher is a pushover. Those two are on my list of players to keep, a short list. Ill get to that later but lets get to Chapter 1:
1. GIVE KIPPY A CHANCE! AND GET MIKE IN HERE!
This team needs some attitude!
All teams are going to have their struggles, even the great ones. There will always be adversity to face and you have to make adjustments to overcome it. When the Patriots lose Weiss, Cornell, Bruschi, they have Tom and Bill to pick them back up and get back on track. I dont think in a lot of ways, the guys in these positions on our team have that respect, from fans definitely not, other players probably not, and teammates maybe not. They can be addressed at the end of the season, but lets get to what needs to be addressed IMMEDIATELY! First, fire Chris Palmer. There, I said, it's nothing innovative, its been said probably more than the word Texans on this board. I mean, he also just looks like Dave Campos
older smarter brother. Dave was always outside in the mud catching crickets, playing in the mud, being loud. Chris was inside reading the encyclopedia and staring at the sky blankly a lot. Let receivers coach, Kippy Brown have his chance. Everybody needs their reigns taken off at some point in time. That time is now for Kippy Brown. Make Kippy Brown the Offensive Coordinator. Look at Kippys credentials, straight from your teams website:
Before arriving in Houston, Brown served as head coach of the XFLs Memphis Maniax. Prior to his stint in Memphis, Brown spent one season with the Green Bay Packers as their running backs coach, helping perennial Pro Bowl back Ahman Green break through with his first 1,000-yard rushing campaign.
Before arriving in Green Bay, Brown spent four seasons with the Miami Dolphins under Jimmy Johnson, the final two seasons as offensive coordinator. Brown arrived in Miami as the running backs coach, helping Karim Abdul-Jabbar become the first Dolphins back to crack the 1,000-yard barrier in 18 years. The following season, Abdul-Jabbar tied for the NFL lead in rushing touchdowns with 15.
Johnson elevated Brown to offensive coordinator in 1998, where he worked with future Hall of Fame quarterback Dan Marino. The Dolphins earned a wild card berth in both of Browns seasons calling the plays.
Brown served one season as the running backs coach for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 1995. Prior to that, he returned to the University of Tennessee, serving two seasons as the assistant head coach and wide receivers coach. The Volunteers outscored their opponents 847-383 over those two seasons en route to an 18-6 mark. Brown helped tutor future No. 1 draft pick Peyton Manning as a freshman.
Browns first NFL coaching stop came in New York, where he spent three seasons (1990-92) as the running backs coach for the Jets. In 1991, the Jets ranked fifth in the league in rushing and advanced to the playoffs for the first time in five seasons.
Browns initial stint at Tennessee was as wide receivers coach from 1983-89. He helped develop such prolific Vols receivers as Anthony Miller, Tim McGee, Alvin Harper and Carl Pickens. Prior to arriving in Knoxville, Brown coached wide receivers at Louisville, including future Dolphins standout Mark Clayton.
Everywhere he has gone, he has had success and developed talent. I think we should let him bring in his own plays and his own style and see what hes got. I prefer opening things up a lot. Three wide 2 back, three wide tight end and back, four wide and a back or tight end, even five wide often. Domanick can line up at receiver too. Keep the defense honest by running draws, screens, using the tight end often up the middle. WITH FOUR OR MORE RECEIVERS AGAINST MAN YOU HAVE TO MIX IN A CROSSING ROUTE PALMER! AND DAVE! Thats another thing, no more of this David bull****. Grow up and be called Dave, David is a kids name. Michael Vick went to Mike, grew up, and took his team to the NFC Championship Game, lets see the same from you. Im not sure what he prefers but any kind of change is good. Certainly after coaching Dan Marino, Brett Favre, and Peyton Manning, you would think he would like to open up things a bit. Another Kippy has is his versatility in coaching. He has helped develop successful NFL players at every back position on offense.
So, thats what you do if you want to start turning this thing around. We have seen Palmers ****, you give this guy the job on the interim basis and see you want to see what he can do.
And if you do this let Chick Harris have some input on some running plays to mix things up. Hes another good one!
And lets get in another quarterback coach for Dave. In his fourth year, Dave is just not necessary progress. Hes not making his reads and seeing the field. And this guy was a defensive player. Hes coaching on the wrong damn side of the ball. Certainly you want someone to be coaching what their familiar with. Makes sense, right? Plus, the guy looks like he just got done eating for three hours at Ci-Cis while watching Cartoon Network.
He looks like he might know all the times that Gunsmoke is on in the afternoon. But hes also got that geek in him and looks like he might collect Star Wars figurines as well.
Let Kippy have the final and only say with everything on offense. Dom doesn't get to touch the offense. He needs to be brainstorming something new for the time being, at least for the season he has left.
Also, get Michael Irvin in here to work with the receivers. Let Kippy concentrate on the x's and o's and technical part of the game and Mike with the technical part and motivational part of the game. Irvin is one of the only guys T.O. and Randy Moss will talk to. He relates with today's receivers and I think can be a great receivers coach. He's making a nice chunk of change at ESPN, but we know you have money to spend in that wallet. If not now, go after him at the end of the season. Think of the media circus at the Texans Bubble and the FIRE AND MOTIVATION HE COULD HELP BRING TO THIS WHOLE TEAM!

If you have extra tickets, walk over to the Reliant Arena and give them to somebody Like I did today. Who cares if you miss the first 3 minutes Remember whats out there.
The scouting and personnel moves of this team are atrocious by the way.
WHY DID WE GET PHILLIP POISON BUCHANON? Tell Poison to go back to where he came from.
Oh and there are many, many more. This section could be longer than the Koran.
List of players to keep.
That little salary page comes in handy Charlie and Bob. Lets you see how much money you can spend in trying to IMPROVE YOUR TEAM!

Maybe others. There you go, thats what you keep. Everything else put in a U-Haul truck and send away to another team or the streets.
You have to actually go out and watch these guys and form your own opinion on them, not just go by what everyone else said. Cause guess what, they are lying to you.
Put Dunta on the other teams BEST RECEIVER!
Amen Matt Jackson This guy knows whats up
Find more help for Andre Johnson? Nope, make Johnson the help. If he gets loose, T.O. IT!
This comes from someone who hates the man. But football is a business and thats why they rank the value of NFL teams. Certainly, bringing T.O. in would increase the national media attention of this franchise. And media attention brings value, see Dallas Cowboys. If T.O. becomes available in the offseason, pursue him.

Can we get some very loud music in the locker room to fire the team up? I recommend some T.I. or Staind
If you can listen to that and not get ready you might not be mean enough to play this game.
