Day 3: What's left (to be done)

So as the start of the third day of the draft approaches. What's left? Both in terms of what's left on the board and what's left to be done.

To me the needs are still: ILB, slot WR, nickel corner, OL depth, RB depth and QB. That is in no significant order nor does all of that have to be addressed with a pick.

What say the rest of y'all?
 
Hmm... 6 picks, right? 4, 6, 6, 6, 7, 7?

I would like to see (not really in order) QB, OT, DE, ILB, FS, CB. I would also like to see WR and RB, but it is what it is. The FO has killed it so far, and as a result, I am really stoked to see what happens today.
 
Draft-wise:

Nickel Corner - That's a starting position and a hole in the lineup.
ILB - Even if they move Reed inside, depth is needed.
DE - Again, depth is necessary.
Slot WR/returner - This is like 2 starting positions
Backup RB - Maybe 2. One to run inside, another as a 3rd down Danny Woodhead type
OT - If there's still a decent one left at the end of the 4th.

Trade:
QB - Mallett. Git er done.
 
If a QB falls to our 4th pick that BoB likes, that will just make this draft so complete for me it'll be unreal. After that, more line help on either side and a safety or CB would be nice. Oh yeah, a RB.

Damn, that's a lot to hope for considering most of our picks are in the 6th and 7th rounds. I have a feeling there is still one more sleeper pick or a UDFA that will blow us away with it's value at such a low price.

Ryan Mallett #Pats / #Texans trade discussions have been on-going (despite tons of reports). Mallett is Houston's #1 VET target.
 
Shane Skov next. Flip 2 6th picks for a 5th and grab Savage, Mett or McCarron.

Tyler Gaffney with remaining 6th, and project tackle and QB with 7s.

Texans have yet to replace Antonio Smith. Just realized that South Carolina, teammate of JD Clowney still available late in 4th. Kelcy Quarles he would be the perfect fit as a 3-4 DE don't know why I never gave him consideration? now he is also a value pick :evil:

I've been expecting them to take 2 QBs in this draft.

Of course, I didn't expect the FIRST one to be this late.

Fitzpatrick, Keenum/Yates, Savage

Whoever loses that battle for #2 is gone.
