How is that a "Star Trek" theater? Shrek theater, OK. Star Wars theater, OK.
David's brother used to post here under the name hulk75...seems they have a cartoon fetish. Obviously the smaller spidey on the left is David.
Is this really a "mansion"? 6 bedrooms is a big house, but I've always thought mansions were more like River Oaks. Massive houses with wings and dozens of bedrooms and a kitchen with more square feet than the average U.S. house and even a small house in the back for guests or hired help.
That's funny, man.
Was QB75 Derek Carr? I know it was one of the Carr boys, but I don't remember if it was specifically Derek.

You'd be surprised - a lot of them don't have as many bedrooms as you think. I know a guy out in Beaumont who built a 22,000 sq. ft. house and it "only" had 5-6 bedrooms. It's all the extras. Carr has a 10 car garage. This guy has a full size indoor basketball court.
Ahhh, great point. I never thought about bedroom size. Those things could be massive. Any idea of how many square feet isin Carr's house?
I just re-read the article and saw the mention of 10 car garage the second time around. Holy moly.

Nope.
Not long after college, one of my buddies from pit crewing and racing who had gone to work for Ford on engine development bought a house. 1600 sq. ft. house with a 2500 sq. ft. climate controlled garage. I laughed my ass off. He still can't fit all his cars and motorcycles in it much less the tow vehicles and trailers.
I'll say this. It's actually a very nice looking house. If I made his kind of money (when he made that kind of money) that's the size of house I would look for. Not those big mansions that probably have "you are here" maps all over them out of necessity.
BUUuuuUUT.....good luck getting the 2.8, dude.
Or maybe not. Not much demand for pricy housing in a state where Tax Flight is well under way. The rich can vote with their feet.

Thank you Jerry Brown.

He'll get that price. It's California. And it's a nice crib.
Keep trotting that canard out. CA gained over 330k last year - highest growth rate in a decade.

Yeah, but Bakersfield?
Aberrations aren't a sign of change. Just a hope for it.
Slightly faster than the state overall.
It isn't an aberration. The population growth rate has slowed as in less positive. It has not been negative recently.
