Dallas wins extremely exciting game

Oh baby that was nice. The game winner looked like the Ice Bowl. Vinny, George, JJ, and Henson looked great. V. Testaverde completed 13 of 17 attempts with 124 yrds. JJ had 59 yrds and George had a nice 28 yrds from 6 attempts. Henson was had 7 completions out of 9 throws with 53 yards

Dallas drove down the field with about 2 minutes left, there was a 4th and 9 play they unbeliavebly completed, then with 10 seconds still ticking down with no timeouts, Tony Romo leaped in for a touchdown :thumbup :coolb:

We had drives of 17, 13, 11, and 17 plays.

That's excellent Bill Parcells football!

Yup Woodson was out. Washington didnt look that bad with 4 tackles. And Sapp didnt play

Good to know. I read that the Cowboys 1st team offense was kept out of the endzone again. That sucks for them, but I think they got a few field goals this time. How did the O Line look this time around?

The Cowboys and Texans have something in common. Both have starting QBs older than the home stadium they play in.

Washington was immovable. Didn't pay much attention to Sapp.

Vinnie had good numbers but I didn't think he looked that good. It seemed if Oakland wanted, they could've blitzed every down and got a sack. I was slow when I played QB but Vinnie makes me look like Michael Vick.

J. Jones had a rough 1st half but really turned it on in the 2nd. Eddie George can forget about earning those incentives during the season unless Jones gets hurt. Otherwise Jones "better" have at least the same number of carries as Eddie. Rashard Lee looked good as well. I think he's done enough to take the #3 spot from Cason.

Romo is horrible. Henson is most definately the solid #2 and will take over the starting job sometime this season. He hasn't looked "great" and each time he's mentioned you hear the "not bad for somebody that hasn't played in 3 years". It's starting to sound more like an excuse. But he'll need to get better before he's successful in the this league...he just won't need to get much better to take away the starting job from VT.

Our secondary will get thrown on this year...a lot. Maybe we should've contacted Deion about coming back to Dallas. Terrence Newman will be a shut-down for many years. You won't want to go across the middle because Roy Williams is there but he needs to be moved to SS. Woodson is not the cover man he used to be. He's fine at covering the TEs but WRs are going to give him fits. Pete Hunter has had his moments...good but mostly not so good.

Larry Allen may be back. They had a quick interview with him and his quote "If I play the way I'm suppose to, we'll win the Super Bowl". I don't agree but it's nice to see he realizes he messed up last year and seems to be playing at the highest level that he's now capable of (not as good as his prime but better than last year).

First string offense was held without a TD again but they also scored on all 3 first half drives (all FGs). Guess this is good news/bad news. Good news is they were able to move the ball down the field. Bad news is with only 3 possessions in the first half that tells me the defense wasn't able to get the ball back for them. And it would've been nice to see a TD when they did have it.

Wouldn't say it was an "exciting game" (hard to get excited over some sloppy play), but it was a close one.

I think Vinny just got one sack. Overall it wasnt that bad. Yeah, we got 3 fieldgoals, could of gotten 6 once but those darn penaltys
