Yeah you beat us in 02' but thats the past my friend, it all about the future! Mischief, we're going to take it August 14 first preseason game at Reliant Stadium.

Man lets get all hyped up about a preseason game. Not like half of the people that will play most of that game will even be on the opening day roster. As far a the Super Bowl, sure every team thinks they will win the superbowl, but I doubt the Carter, Testeverde, & Henson combo will carry you that far.

Well it is for the "govenors cup" and we know what that means (sarcastic). Doesn't matter who wins, we'd have a "special session" called by Perry to try to see who the winner would be

I really don't know how the cowboys are going to do. A lot of it depends on whoever the QB is going to do . I hear reports that Henson could already unseat Carter (which doesn't say too much). If their Rb situation is settled,that will help a bunch.. Defensively they should be ok, I hear reports that Dallas is looking at McKenzie from GB to help them in the secondary.. That would be good for them

The part I find so funny is how when we mention that we beat Dallas, all Cowboy fans mention how that was in the past and how it is all about the future yet they love to refer to their PAST superbowls. I think it is because they know there is no Super Bowl in their future.
And just to add to the razzing. The only way the Cowboys make it to the Super Bowl is to be a Pre-game guest to analyze why the feel the Texans should win this Super Bowl.
All teams and fans refer to their past. The people in Green Bay still talk about the Ice Bowl. The fans in Pittsburgh still talk about Franco's catch. They still talk about all their Super Bowls.
It's not a bad thing to be proud of past accomplishments. I still hear people talk about the great Oiler teams that Bum had.
I may be in the minority but I don't think it's so bad for fans to talk about great teams, great players and great coaches.
