Cutler & Bears handle the Vikings with relative ease

CHICAGO -- Five weeks of watching convinced Jay Cutler that Alshon Jeffery had to get more involved after halftime.

True to his word, Cutler, who returned to the lineup on Monday, prioritized Jeffery to begin the third quarter of the Chicago Bears' unexpected 20-10 victory over the Vikings, connecting with his top receiver for three receptions for 52 yards and a touchdown -- Jeffery’s first score of the season.

It was vintage Cutler against the Vikings. The veteran quarterback flirted with danger throughout the evening but never got burned. On several occasions, Minnesota nearly came up with interceptions, only to have the ball harmlessly fall to the turf.

We took care of business vs the Bears in the season opener in NRG but go blown out in Minnesota.
Go figure ?
Just goes to show how it's often difficult to draw accurate conclusions about different teams from matchups with a common opponent.
I do know this: Jay Cutler still has one of the best arms in the NFL and when he's on he's really formidable.

Looks like the Cinderella clock has struck midnight for the Vikings.

All those O-line injuries have finally taken their toll. Their line is almost as beat up as ours.

Bradford can't operate effectively without a "clean" pocket. And they sure can't run the ball.

The time off seems to have helped Jay Cutler. That's the "go figure" piece of it to me. Did he see something while holding the clipboard for 4-5 weeks that he wasn't seeing on the field??

Not just that but the Vikings defense has gone from Super Saiyan to frog Captain Ginyu. The wheels seem to be flying off in Minny right now.

I think its because the bears know the common foe Vikings plus they were at home

last time we played the bears in Chicago it was like a 10 to 6 ball game Arian TB pass awww how time flys

Kind of goes back to what I've been saying all year long. it doesn't matter who the best team is today. It matters when the post season starts.
