Carr had a damaged shoulder against Atlanta and couldn't even throw but he still came into the game when Banks went down with an injury. Then, when he saw an opening he took off running and instead of sliding put his head down and fought for extra yardage. Yeah, Carr doesn't want to win.
In his rookie year, Carr was sacked more times than any other QB in NFL history. He was a number one overall draft pick with lots of money in the bank and a long future ahead of him. He could have come out of some of those games and no one would have blamed him, but he stayed in there and took every snap. Yeah, Carr doesn't have leadership ability.
I guarantee you after the past two seasons, every offensive player on the Texans looks at Carr as a guy who has laid everything on the line for his team. That is the kind of teammate players will follow.
