Why do we sign 6'2 to 6'3 receivers? The height advantage is supposed to come into play for deep balls and inside slants. I dont get it though! Carr refuses to throw the ball unless it is no farther than five yards pass the line of scrimmage. The whole purpose of the tall receiver is to have the advantage in single coverage, but the damn QB has to throw you the ball. It is very obvious that Carr is not going to risk his stats and he always checks down to the FB/RB. Yea Moulds or AJ might get a slant once a game but that is it. Why not bring in 59 or 510 receivers like Santana Moss or Brandon Stockley who can catch the 1 yard hitch and make something happen with their quickness? We can either pull the QB and put in someone who is not afraid to throw the ball to our recievers with the 1/2 foot height advantage, or bring in recievers that can facilitate Carrs decision making! Something has to be done though!
