Corey Coleman WR - Baylor

Marshall

Not pretty, but ALIVE!
I was just watching Baylor v Kansas State and noticed that with all of his talent, he takes plays off and doesn't even attempt to hold the CBs/DBs by acting like he MIGHT BE a target.

Perhaps he's just trying to lull them into a false sense of security, but I like watching the players when they don't get their number called in the huddle/sideline to see how they play for their team mates.

He looks like a Kendall Wright clone to me. Explosive athlete who wins the majority of his 1-on-1's in college but his matchup advantage will be neutralized by most NFL defenses.

Am I the only one who read "Gary Coleman WR - Baylor" and had that mental picture of a little bitty chubby guy catching passes thrown real low (Like Ryan Mallett low)?

Just me huh?

Honestly, I prefer Josh Doctson. Docton reminds me a lot of Hopkins. Catches anything that comes his way but might not have that top-end speed NFL coaches like.

That was from Nov. 30 before the game against Texas.

That game was their Senior Appreciation Day and he walked out with the seniors despite being a redshirt junior. And then after the game he and Art Briles both confirmed that he was entering the draft.

I'm not all that impressed by him moving forward. He's a very good college player but he's not well rounded at all. I think WolverineFan is right. He's a Kendall Wright clone and I don't think he's going to be an impact player in the NFL.

I also don't expect him to get drafted as high as people are projecting right now. I don't see how he could possibly be a first round pick.

Don't know what you guys are basing your scouting on. This guy would be a game changer in the slot for us. Short area quickness is off the charts. Gets good separation and has the speed and sudden change of direction to take it to the house on any play.

Plus comparing him to Kendall wright isn't a negative. Wright would be the second best wr on this team right now. Look at the teams he's been on and the QB's that he's had.
