Onside Kick Specialist
Went off topic in another thread discussing the draft and college players so I figured I'd make a place to talk college players.
Whether you simply like them or whether you think they'd be fits on the Texans.
Or just if you're watching a game and what you're seeing. Coaching, players, whatever.
To start off I'm watching a lot of receivers as I think a true #1 would be the most significant add the team could make right now. I think this is going to be a very deep draft and there should absolutely be opportunities for the Texans - I wouldn't be against them double dipping early either. All the talk goes to Marvin Harrison Jr. at the top and it's very well deserved but I'm looking at the other guys as I don't think we'll have a shot at him.
My guy right now is Johnny Wilson. Plays at FSU and is playing with Keon Coleman who is another option as a top receiver. Wilson is 6'7" 237 so there's already talk about him converting to TE but I just really like his game. Has a knack for getting open and I love his catching ability as he does a great job actually using his catch radius and grabbing balls out of the air. As compared to someone like Quentin Johnston from this year's draft who I did not like and I think could end up being a bit of a bust. I also think he would really fit as a slot player which could be quite humorous having a 6'7" guy as your slot and a 5'8" as your outside receiver even though that's what I truly think the best fit is for each.
