Classy Fans

I will admit that I don't know much about the Texans. I know almost everything about the packers. What I have learned about the Texans this week is that the fans are a classy bunch. This has got to be the most peaceful message board I have ever been on...no trash talking. I enjoyed reading your opinions on Brett Favre. I enjoyed reading the ranting and raving of your team. Actually, it made me smile because Packer fans have been there too. You're disgusted with your team, but you still can't give up on them. Believe it or not, there was a time when Packer fans wanted to stuff Favre in a box and return to sender. But he asked Packer fans to give him time and we did...it took him four years before he become a superstar. I hope the Texans turn their season around...after sunday of course. Thank you Texan Fans for being a classy and respectful bunch.

Well, one of the reasons is because you can't really talk too much trash when you are 4 and 5. Another big reason is because we were around witnessing a new expansion team in Houston, so we definitely know what it feels like to lose and have to sit by and just watch our team get progressively better, knowing that we were not going to be a winning team. Watching your team struggle so much and seeing how improved we are now will make you a humble person. It's not like we have grown up expecting a playoff birth every season like the Packs. Plus, the fans reflect the players (and vice versa). Our players are pretty humble, and they don't talk a bunch of smack week in and week out. No Keyshawn Johnsons or TOs on this team!

You're going to get the "fire so and so" posts every week (I wanted to fire the Oline last week), but I think we're a classy bunch.

yeah i think its cause we knew the team was gonna lose a lot of games until they matured and got more talent. To be honest i like the fact that our team is still young and dont make the playoffs every year, dont get much so ya dont expect much. But we love our team and respect all the other teams around the league,,,hmm besides the Titans,,,Colts, and Jags but hey the Packers are awesome, and brett Farve is the best QB of all time !
