The Chiefs don't appear to be aggressively seeking offers for discontented halfback Larry Johnson but would part with him if the right one came along before the NFL's Oct. 19 trading deadline.

The Chiefs have held recent substantive discussions with at least four teams regarding Johnson — Tampa Bay, Miami, Philadelphia and Dallas.
 
I know that they said they wanted insurance in case Holmes couldn't come back from injury. But c'mon. Couldn't they have tried to sign a F/A or drafted a back in the lower rounds instead of pretty much wasting a first rounder. I doubt they get equal value in return.

Yea, especially when it's Feely. If Miami gets him it will be for draft picks.
 
You are right. Im just stating that the dolphins need johnson. And I believe that feely isnt any better than Feidler. Fiedler won games.


I am somewhat disapointed at the fins for giving up on getting a good RB. Im not saying that I know how hard they tried to get a high caliber RB, but when you end up with the stable of backs they have now, it seems that way.

A train would have been better to get for whale. Even if they wanted a draft pick or 2. This team won because it has a great D and a solid ground game.
