Balance and power my friend. He's been on his back alot which is something that shouldn't happen if you're supposed to be a franchise altering interior dlineman. Your supposed to turn and accelerate your feet to get your feet in position. Basic defensive line play.

You have to give the other guy credit too. Carter is not a all pro level yet, but he probably is the best coming out this year. I wouldn't take him at 1.1 I probably wouldn't take any DT there, maybe not in the top 5. But if Carter dominated an all star game like Donald did the senior bowl I'd have to consider top 5

I feel like dt is a HUGE need for us and would love one early. I didn't see anything special from Carter tonight and don't want him.

I'm not arguing with you, I'm saying posters have been on the hype train and you can't even tell he played. He's been like that all year and he's not going to play in the senior bowl. I like him to a point, but he's more of a 5 tech run stopper.

Carter had a number of plays last night where he got good quick pressure, Stroud just did an even better job of moving around in the pocket and evading.

im off the Carter train simply b/c there are a few guys coming in FA that we can maybe get to shore up the d-line. We can then use a Day 2 pick on a guy like Ika out of Baylor & develop him. The Eagle’s Javon Hargrave will probably be out of our reach..But Da’ron Payne and/or a Dalvin Tomlinson are guys we have a shot at if we can put a competitive offer out there. even a guy like JJ Watt-lite Zach Allen would be an upgrade for our d-line.

Carter wasn't a difference maker last night.

Lately, I've been thinking alot about the possibilities if Payne were signed. It would give Lovie his IDL that he covets and alllow more flexibility with their draft.

Payne is going to get paid by a contender.

Caserio might be able to overpay for a guy like Dalvin Tomlinson.

Daron Payne is my #1 FA want. Allen is plan B. Hell bring them both in

I just watched the highlights from the game. Bennett looked every bit as good as Stroud. Over the season their stats are similar. Stroud has twice as many TDs. & that's huge. Not saying otherwise.

Where do you guys, anyone who wants to answer, think Bennett will be drafted?

5th/6th round - same size concerns as Young (he's listed 5'11" 190 pounds) but Stetson will turn 26 years old in his rookie season.
