CBS Rob Rang 2 round mock

I just can't get on board with a WR in the first, barring an unexpected drop from one of the higher rated guys. I'd much rather take one of McClellin, Hightower, Silatolu or Martin and snag Sanu or Quick in the 2nd.

It's just pure laziness. WR was thought to be our biggest need at the end of the season last year. Alot of things have changed since then but very few of the so called "experts" care to take the time to truly look at our team and determine what our needs really are. Sad really!

The need for a WR is still there for this team tho they do have other holes to fill now .... It boils down to what value is available at any given pick.

For me , it depends upon who's there and how they are rated among the positions of need on this team , many of which I think are pretty equal.

DE - depth is thin
OLB - depth is thin
WR - Not much after AJ and Walter. (Can someone make Jacoby Jones expendable?)
OG - Is Caldwell the answer? Shelley Smith behind him thats a questionmark position.
OT - Im Ok with Butler but who's the back-up and they will need a swing tackle to replace Butler as he steps into the starters spot.
CB - Lost Jason Allen , love McCain at the nickle , need another guy here.

I'd take the player ranked highest among any of these positions all the way thru the draft without regard to position.
