Casserlys head will Roll SOON

Bre4301

Practice Squad
Casserly must accept the wreck he has created. He has failed to
draft, trade or hold together the necessary nucleus of a lot of great groundwork. Casserly failed on many occasions to recognize the ability or class of the players on this team. He was a marginal personnel director when he was the step and fetch boy for Joe Gibbs. His sucesss then was Mark Mosley and other kicking pros.

For Four years Dom Capers has stayed ahead of the boned headed decisions of Casserly. He hides the shortcoming of Casserly. He coached marginal players into very productive players. Casserly failed to keep those players and loaded the wagon with less capable players.

The huge shortcoming that must be pointed out on Capers is special teams. (The kickers are the highlights of this season, one for Casserly) The talent may not be there at whatever position you may want to choose to yell about, but a coach does have the talent to put the best special teams on the field. Casserly would find it difficult to screw up often enough to wreck enough players not to field great special teams. If nothing else Capers has stressed the importance of special teams and he has failed to deliver.

Bob McNair is too sharp not to see where this problems lies. The new GM will handle the coaching decision.

And last, the fans have a right to boo and act as ignorant as they can. But as bad as the season has been for the players some fans are just losers. Folks can righteously do a lot of things but that don’t make it right. I dare say most of these whom boo and yell obscenities at the Texans are folks that have been losers in every aspect of their own life. They would not know how to part of a successful team any more than handling their own pathetic lives

Yeah, Casserly and Capers HAVE TO GO, This is bad, REAL BAD!

Why do we let our best players leave? Why do we let promising players leave?

Why cant #80 catch the ball lol!

So many pathetic players, calls, and managing, we are a joke.

and

If we get 1 MORE DANG FALSE START AT FREAKING HOME I AM GOING TO PUKE!!!

But I am sure, this is all Carrs fault, I mean he should know to not expect anything that resembles even HIGH SCHOOL pass blocking protection.

bs.

i guess things like steve foley being cut by capers and then making the pro bowl went under your radar?

oddly enough posey was respectable in buffalo?

and all of these free agents we've aquired had decent track records until they got here. what changed when they got here? the coaching and the scheme. blame casserly for not pulling the trigger on certain coaches last january. blame casserly for buying into the ol-cohesion scam. blame casserly for over or underpaying anyone if you like ,but dont blame him for not bringing talent to houston. this IS an 8-8 talent level team underachieving.

Capers can't cut anyone, that belong to GM. Second he could have keep Foley, who had more plays than Sharper or Foreman his lasr year and lead LB all LB in sacks 2004, 540K was all that was needed, Posey, who lead the team in Sacks was not made more than min. offer..wakeup

I Say Fire Casserly just For Drafting the Fraud out of Fresno state if anything else is just extra incentive :yahoo:

dont dilute yourself. capers was and is responisble for determining who plays on the field in what postion. he determines the depth chart and dictates playing time. casserly has said exactly that on 610 on several occasions.

He coached marginal players into very productive players.

I'm sorry. You lost me here.

He's turned Carr into a scared, gun-shy QB. He moved Pitts from LT to LG when Pitts was progressing nicely at LT. He continues to play Bradford over Gaffney, then puts Gaffney in whenever he needs a 3rd down conversion. His defensive-minded coaching has developed Babin, Peek, and Wong into players that couldn't find the QB with a GPS. He watched Kenny Wright fill in for Aaron Glenn, do a good job, then let him run off to Jacksonville, where he's doing fine as a starter. He coached Foley well enough that he did nothing here and went to SD and blossomed.

Individually, I don't think any one of these says much. Collectively, they add up to one thing - a failed four-year plan.
