CAsserly Gone to NY

Not sure what team you're watching but Chester is our best lineman (...and save the "that's not saying much" comeback).

He's versatile, quick, strong, smart, great guy. We are lucky to have him and he would be a starter on most OLs in the NFL. He just wants to settle into a position - even though it may be at G where he doesn't want to be.

It's very easy to tell who really knows football and who are just casual fans.

Ok can't let this one go guy... You gotta a guy rated as a left gaurd coming into the draft. The guy busts his rear end off for you for three years, out of position, makes himself into a manageable LT and you're beating the guy down ?

Com'on guy. He IS our best o-lineman. Period. And it's not his fault he got shoved into an untenable postion. Give me them hard working blue collar, over acheivers every time. You wanna poke a finger at someone over last year. Look up folks manning the interior. . My book says some of those folks get their buss tickets punched this summer. Pitts will not. He will have a spot. Pitts was a hit for CC.

HUH????? I was defending Pitts!!!! I think he was a good pick. I can't it a GREAT pick because I reserve that term for picks like Tom Brady in the 6th round and Joe Montana in the 3rd round. Read the quote in my original post. :ok:

I dont see Reeves coming here. I think they were being honest when they repeated over and over that Reeves is not interested in being GM.

I wonder if we could pull Rich McKay from the Falcons. I like his track record.
I don't think there is any way McKay comes to Houston. He is President of the Falcons with Full & TOtal control. Besides he is in the running for the next Commisioner and Rich is not going anywhere until that is resolved. Arthur Blank, Mr Home Depot pays him Big Bucks.

I think Dan Reeves would be a bad fit in Houston. He is to much of a coach and I think he would be looking over Kubiaks shoulder to often and would become a distraction. Then there is the question on his departure from Denver. There was bad blood and the players (mainly Elway) and some coaches (Shanahan) who sided agaisnt Reeves.
