Season 1: David Carr showed that he had some promise and could be a great NFL QB... if not maybe even a Legend. How many guys do you know who could take 76 sacks and get back up after each one?
Season2: Stricken with injuries it was hard to tell if he could be a force. The season went desent for a two year expansion team.
Season3: The would-be legend became a mediocure QB with bad instincts for reading a defense. He couldn't put the numbers on the board, reverted to the side-arm sling he aquired in College, and forgot what a pocket was for.
Season4: After 2 games, mediocure became forgettable. Forgettable in the fact that after he leaves the Texans (and the NFL) I will hopefully forget his pollution of the game he left behind.
Do I even need to point out the obvious follies in the game today? The delay of game penalties (which rest solely on the back of the QB), over throwing recievers (especially in the endzone), should I go on? This team has fallen apart. Carr is no longer the 'great white hope'.
Again, I say Face It... This is a broken down Carr on the side of the road. Lets take it to the junk heap, have it scrapped. It's time for a new driver...
