Fulfill a dream: priceless.
Many people aren't afraid to dream, it's just that not many do what it takes to make them become reality. All of those cliches such as "hard work pays off" and "the sky's the limit" seem to apply to Caprock graduate and Amarillo native Daniel Velasco as he is living the NFL dream as the regional and Hispanic marketing coordinator for the Houston Texans.
"I love my job, and I love what I do," Velasco said. "Working the Super Bowl for the NFL this year was definitely a highlight, but what I do on a daily basis is, too.
"We are integrating our Hispanic marketing efforts with our overall marketing plan. I'm basically creating a new program with a new approach. I'm working closely with every department in the organization, and I couldn't be happier. Working with the NFL and their new office in Mexico City is pretty awesome as well."
