Capers knows what's up

If anyone had listened to his radio show on Monday, you would know without a doubt that Capers knows his head coaching days are numbered if the team doesn't turn it around.

He was asked directly if he thought his own job was in jeopardy. "This is life in the NFL! It's a results oriented business." And he said it in a manner that gives the impression he knows it will happen and he's comfortable with it, and he's not worried about it all.

He's been doing this a long time. Besides, if he's fired, he knows good and well that his phone will ringing off the wall from teams wanting him as a defensive coordinator.

I wonder if he'd accept a demotion to the defensive coordinator position for us? Then, we could bring in a head coach that's an offensive mastermind.

Yeah, Capers knows his days are numbered if he doesn't go at least 7-9. I agree that he would get picked up as a defensive coordinator somewhere.

I don't think so. Would you want to be the guy that couldn't cut it as the HC just to stick to the same team? Besides, when new HC's come in they usually bring in their own staffs and ideas, why would they want the former head coach hanging around?

If the team keeps shooting themselves in the foot and Capers gets fired at the end of the season, I would also like to see an offensive HC come in. I know that defense win championships and all that good cliche(sp?) stuff, but im tired of watching boring football. I wanna see us put up some points. Im so tired of watching us put up 10-14 points a game...
