Plus Morency is simply a better pure RB than DD...

I see glimpses of what might result in Morency becoming a better RB than DD but at this point he isn't a better NFL RB than DD. Morency still has a lot to learn about when to cut/when to bounce, what kind of moves work at his athletic level in the NFL and how to finish off runs before he is better than DD. One of the things that had to surprise everyone from Casserly on down was how NFL ready DD was in his running coming out of college despite backing up a bigger RB and only having 193 carries his senior year.

He sure surprised me. When you stop to think about it, he's been the most consistent offensive force in the history of the Houston Texans franchise.

I hope and believe that Kubiak will have no problem keeping DD a force out of the backfield even with Bush in the mix, and the defensive attention that must be paid to Bush will be a breath of fresh air for not just DD, but every other member of the offense.

I liked the artical but have a question. Did we get rid of Morency? Doesnt he have 34? If there is any number Bush would wear I would have to guess 21, after LT.
